History

The Registry has a long and varied history. The house has was originally built in 1887. Various families ran the house as a registry office and the house also served the local Peterculter community in many and varied ways. In 1953 it became the local council's official registry office.

We aim to expand this page over time with more details of the Registry's past from the people who have lived and worked in the house over many years.
